One Million Pages and Counting
When The Deadly Life of Diana Penn launched on 12 August 2025, I had no idea how readers would respond (and I don’t think Shawn did either!). Just 90 days later, the book has surpassed 1,002,950 pages read on Amazon. To say I’m humbled is an understatement.
To every reader who has spent time in Diana’s world, thank you. Whether you borrowed it through Kindle Unlimited, purchased a copy, or recommended it to a friend, you’ve brought Cheviot Hills and Diana’s story to life in ways I never imagined.
The book now has 450+ ratings on Amazon, with an average of 4.6 stars, and Goodreads shows the same. Each review, rating, and recommendation helps other readers discover the story and reminds me why I write.
A special thank you goes to Shawn Inmon, who generously invited me to write in his Middle Falls universe. While his stories are set in the Pacific Northwest, The Deadly Life of Diana Penn takes that same theme of redemption and second chances across the Atlantic, to the fictional English town of Cheviot Hills.
It’s been an incredible journey these past few months, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has joined me along the way. Here’s to Diana, to Cheviot Hills, and to the readers who made this milestone possible.
If you’ve read Diana’s story, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
